About Us

Sharp Health MD is a physician-led concierge medical practice built on a simple belief:

Healthcare works best when doctors have the time, access, and autonomy to care for patients properly.

Founded by a husband-and-wife physician team, the practice provides highly personalized, relationship-based care for individuals who value proactive health, clear communication, and direct physician access. By intentionally limiting the number of patients we serve, we’re able to know our patients well, respond quickly, and focus on prevention and thoughtful management of both acute and complex medical issues.

After years in large hospital systems, we saw how rushed and impersonal healthcare can become. Sharp Health MD was created to return to a more attentive model of medicine—one centered on time, accessibility, and careful clinical judgment.

The Providers

Dr. Talley Sharp

Dr. Talley Sharp is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician and Naples native who is excited to return home to care for the community where she grew up.

She attended the Community School of Naples before earning her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia, graduating magna cum laude. She went on to attend the Medical College of Georgia, followed by residency training in Emergency Medicine at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, a high-volume Level I trauma center serving the greater Atlanta area. There, she trained in the rapid evaluation and management of acute illness and injury, developing a skillset focused on efficient diagnosis, decisive care, and managing complex and undifferentiated medical problems.

Her background in emergency medicine brings a practical, solutions-oriented approach to patient care—focused on identifying problems early, navigating urgent issues calmly, and helping patients avoid unnecessary hospital visits whenever possible. She is particularly passionate about prevention, lifestyle optimization, and helping patients maintain long-term health and independence as they age.

Outside of medicine, Talley enjoys spending time with her husband Joey, catching up with friends, exploring Naples’ restaurant scene, traveling, and staying active. She has a strong personal interest in fitness, nutrition, and long-term health.

Dr. Joey Sharp

Dr. Joseph “Joey” Sharp is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician known for his thoughtful, steady approach to patient care and his strong foundation in academic medicine and medical education.

Dr. Sharp graduated from the University of Georgia as a First Honors Graduate before completing medical school at Emory University School of Medicine, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and received the Dean's Award. He was also inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society during medical school, recognizing outstanding academic achievement and a commitment to professionalism in medicine.

Dr. Sharp remained at Emory to complete his residency in Internal Medicine, where he was selected to serve as Chief Resident — a reflection of his clinical excellence and leadership among peers.

Following training, Dr. Sharp continued his work in medical education, serving as Assistant Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Prisma Health, where he mentored residents and helped shape physician training. Clinically, he has particular interests in clinical reasoning, infectious diseases, complex inpatient care, and evidence-based chronic disease management, bringing a careful, measured, and highly analytical approach to patient care.

Outside of medicine, Joey enjoys fly fishing, hiking, and spending time outdoors and on the water with his wife and their two golden retrievers.
